Made in 1987 in the state of the art Osaka Breweries, it’s one of the driest beers ever, going well with sashimi and nigiri, but especially with sushi, complementing its delicate taste. Aside from the normal ingredients, like barley, malt, and corn, there’s also some rice in the mix. The beer is brewed with natural yeast, all of these giving the Asahi a clean taste and smell, and some fruitiness.
